Course
Description
The courses are paved, rolling, and free from most vehicular traffic. The route is a circular loop which
takes runners past many of the park's historic sites, monuments, and markers. The signature event is the 15km,
but we cordially invite your participation in a competitive 5km race (with awards), or the Scenic Walk (2.5 miles).

The very popular 5km is mostly flat and fast!
Electronic, computerized timing using the IPICO SportagTM system. All times based on “gun-time”. Sportags TM must be worn for official results.
The Scenic Walk is a beautiful stroll of about 2 1/2 miles, ideal for strollers, baby joggers, and toddlers. Infants and toddlers must be registered and a waiver signed. Their $5 entry fee includes a Chickamauga Chase wee-ones T-shirt.
The Kiddie K is approximately .62 miles for children 9 & under, all kids receive an award.
Please note that bicycles, baby joggers, strollers, rollerblades/skates and scooters are not permitted in the competitive 15km or 5km - per RRCA and CTC rules. Baby joggers and strollers are welcome and encouraged in the Scenic Walk.
Awards ceremony for both 5km & 15km begins at 10:15 a.m.
